1. The machine does not return to the origin after machining

When encountering this issue, it is necessary to check if the machine is connected with limit switches and if the limit switches are damaged. If the limit switches are not the problem, check if the control board is damaged, if the parameters inside the DSP controller are correct, and then inspect the drawing file. After troubleshooting, you can proceed with a simple engraving project. After the engraving is completed, press the 'F' key on the control board and the confirm key on the DSP controller to see if it can return to the origin point.

2. The main shaft fails to reach the specified speed

To troubleshoot this issue, check if the wiring on the frequency converter and the terminal board is correct, or readjust the internal parameters of the frequency converter. Sometimes, it may also be caused by damage to the data cable connecting the Weihong card to the terminal board, resulting in incorrect parameters in the DSP controller, which will require reconfiguration.

3. The jitter during the operation of the engraving machine

When the engraving machine is working, there is a jitter phenomenon, which will affect the final engraving effect and cause the pattern to deform. At this time, it is necessary to adjust the parallelism of the machine tool, check whether the slider, motor belt, coupling and other accessories are loose or damaged. At the same time, adjust the concentricity and tightness of the bearing seat, nut seat, and motor seat of each axis of the machine tool.

4. Displacement in Sculpture

It is necessary to check whether the lubrication of each axis of the machine tool is sufficient, or if the machine speed is too fast and if the parameters are set correctly. Check if there is any eccentricity or sticking phenomenon when the motor seat, lead screw seat, and bearing seat on the XYZ axes are in motion. In addition, check for static electricity or external interference, and make sure the engraving machine is properly grounded. Sometimes, insufficient driver current or damage to the motor or driver can also cause this issue.

5. The device does not respond when turned on

Check the position of the Weihong card slot in the computer case or reinstall the software, then check the output current of the power supply in the control box, as well as whether the wiring on the terminal board is correct and whether the aviation plug is connected correctly. Also, check if the main power switch, fuse, and rectifier of the driver are damaged.

6. The machine cannot return to zero position

The inability of the machine head to return to zero position may be caused by the misalignment of the screw, in which case the screw needs to be readjusted. If the screw is not the issue, it may be due to damage to the travel switch.

Most of the time, this problem occurs because the body is not grounded, resulting in static electricity, which leads to tool running and misalignment.
